It is better to be hated by the world, as a child of God, than to be loved by a finite world and lose an eternal inheritance.Remember, 1 Peter 1:4 says “…an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”and Matthew 16:26 says “What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet forfeits his soul?”Do not be dismayed, brothers and sisters, if the Progressive world scowls at you and call you bigoted, hateful, backwards, and prejudiced, for simply pointing out scripture; for quoting the gospel; for reminding the people of the Bible’s teachings; for explaining that which the prophets and the apostles taught.1 John 3:13 says "Do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.” for it, too, hated the Saviour. The blind who bask in sin will not care if you outline clearly the differences between Old Testament civil laws, ritual purity, the eternal (unchanging) moral laws, and the new covenant in Christ of the New Testament. But it is still your duty to speak. The faithful will know the shepherd’s voice, and will come forth. The adversary causes the spiritually frail to stumble and hate the truth. Do not hate them for it. Wait patiently and try again. For to try - even if you are scorned - is simply an expression that you love your brothers and sisters enough to want to see them reach heaven as well.
